Scheduler (Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rostering and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

Whilst previous Rostering (Aged Care) experience is highly regarded, we will train the right person. In this dynamic role, no two days will ever be the same! Your key goal is to ensure the optimal delivery of carers in an accurate and timely manner.  

 

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Accept and schedule client bookings with accuracy and in a timely manner.

  • Accurately enter shifts and changes into our database.

  • Engage the right number of people, with the right skillset and qualifications, to work at the right time and geographical location.

  • Rapidly respond to reschedule cover of unplanned staff availability.

  • Have a calm disposition to juggle multiple rosters at once

  • You will liaise with our clients, carers and staff.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience in rostering/scheduling is desirable

  • Be a positive and adaptable person who can flex and adapt in a changeable environment.

  • Be able to cope with short-term deadlines

  • Have experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Take initiative and be highly organised

  • be agile in their approach and can build quality relationship’s quickly

  • have experience in community, health and aged care sectors is desirable

  • have strong and effective communication skills

  • have a high level of strong computer skills and knowledge (MS Word and Excel)

  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Have ability to gain National Police Check.

  • $60,000 - $65,000 pa plus superannuation, pending experience

Care Worker - Home Care Services (Part Time)

We have an opportunity for a part time, care worker highly motivated, previous experience in aged or community care will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Assisting clients with a range of daily life activities

  • Domestic assistance, including cleaning.

  • Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating

  • Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments

  • Social support and activities, including outings and social activities

  • Personal care, including grooming, bathing and dressing

  • Toileting, including incontinence aids, sanitary pads, colostomy and drainage bags

  • Provide support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders and diabetes management

  • Assistance with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people

  • Certificate III in Aged Care /Disability Support or related field

  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable

  • Must be hoist trained or willing to learn

  • Access to car with comprehensive insurance and current drivers licence

  • Excellent Verbal and written communications skills

  • Time management skills

  • Ability to work with minimal to no supervision

  • Ability to gain National Police Check
