Ku-ring-gai Family Support Service
Are you or your family stressed?
Ku-ring-gai's Family Support workers provide counselling and practical assistance to families with children under the age of 18 years who reside in the Ku-ring-gai area.
These services are free and confidential and can be provided in your home or at Ku-ring-gai Family Support Service.
Services include:
- Individual and family counselling
- Parenting support appointments
- Information and referral
- Practical and emotional support
- Advocacy
Issues Ku-ring-gai Family Support Service can help with include:
- Stress management
- Self esteem
- Depression
- Grief and loss
- Separation
- Domestic violence
- Unemployment issues
- Family issues
- Parenting difficulties
Hours and contact details
The Family Support Workers are at the Ku-ring-gai Neighbourhood Centre on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9am until 4pm. If you’ve any questions, or would like to make an appointment, phone Jan or Kim on 9988 4966.
On Thursdays and Fridays they may be contacted at Ryde Family Support Service on 9334 0111. If they are unavailable, please leave a message and they will respond as soon as possible.
