Location: Ku-ring-gai Neighbourhood Centre – outside Woolworths entrance, St Ives Shopping Village

October Friday:7, 14, 21, 28 AND Thursday: 13: - KNC Yarning: 10.30am - 12.30pm

KNC run a Yarning Group every Friday morning and on the 2^nd Thursday of the month from 10.30am-12.30pm at KNC. Our Yarning Group love to chat and work with yarns of all types – we have people who knit, sew, crochet and make lace. We encourage beginners to drop in and be coached by our more seasoned members.

Our group draws its members from our English Conversation Class, Mah-jong group, shopping bus clients, Broadband for Seniors group, our wonderful group of volunteers, our frail and elderly clients, shoppers and Ku-ring-gai residents.

KNC Yarning Group is fortunate to be sponsored this year by Ku-ring-gai Council and Bendigo Bank. This has enabled us to purchase yarn and equipment, our main focus being knitting squares for the Wrap with Love Inc.

 

KNC is happy to be a Wrap with Love collection point for completed wraps.
