Apart from several interstate and overseas postings in the UK and USA, John has lived in Ku-ring-gai all his life. Schooled at Knox, a graduate from Sydney Uni. of Technology in Business and a degree in marketing/marketing research from Harvard, USA. His business career mainly with large corporations in the forest products industry, leading to senior marketing and CEO positions, finally an international CEO for a UK public company operating around the world. Now retired, living in Turramurra, wife Beverley, 3 married children. Interests include golf,bowls,swimming, rugby and travel
Michele has a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and is currently studying for her Masters in Community Development. She has an extensive history of working in both the public and private sector. She is married with two children and lives in St Ives. Michele joined KNC as a volunteer in 2013 and the Management Committee in 2014. She was appointed General Manager in 2016.
Peter is a chartered accountant who has worked as a Senior Auditor, Financial Director and Managing Director of European Optical and OPSM. He has held a number of different positions on Management Committees such as Vice President, President, Chair of Finance and Deputy Chairman. During his time at KNC he has held the position of President and is currently Vice President. He has a family of four children and 9 grandchildren. His interests are golf, travel and rugby union.
Paul Locke was a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse for 14 years; then Group Controller with William Adams and following takeovers and spin-outs by BHP, retired as Company Secretary of Arrium (formerly OneSteel).Paul spent 20 years as Treasurer of Georgian House aged care facility which merged with Wesley Gardens.Paul has been with KNC for 4 years and has served on the Management Committee as Secretary and Treasurer.
Frances has been associated with KNC almost 7 years. She has been part of the Management Committee for six of those years serving as President, vice-President and secretary (present). She is also one of the coordinators for the mahjong group and also assists in many administrative duties.
Frances has a keen interest in the ethos of KNC to help the elderly stay in their own homes and in providing social interaction for members of the local community.
Bob has been actively involved with Pennant Hills Neighbour Aid for many years both as a driver and Committee Member. He joined the KNC Committee in 2016.
Terry Fitzgerald AM
Currently resides in St. Ives and is married to Christine.He was originally employed in newspaper production in Adelaide. He worked in various credit union organisations both South Australia and New South Wales between 1969 and 2005. He joined KNC in 2010 and has served on the Management Committee and held the position of President.

Gooloo Katrak migrated to Australia in 1979. Born and studied in India and before settling in Sydney, lived in UK and New Zealand. Gooloo’s degree in Psychology was not recognised here in the eighties, thus she did a part time course in Welfare Certificate. She joined KNC as a coordinator of Neighbour Aid Service and those eleven years were the most fulfilling in Gooloo’s life. At present, Gooloo’s time is spent on grand kids, golf and volunteering.
Jan Kirkland B Ed
Jan became a volunteer with KNC six years ago after retiring from the NSW Dept. of Education as an Assistant Principal and choir teacher / Performing Arts Coordinator in various schools in Sydney throughout her career. At KNC Jan initially assisted with the English Conversation class before becoming a Reception/Information Desk volunteer and working as a tutor and coordinator of the Mahjong social group. She is an active member of the Management Committee having been a team leader and past Vice President.
Jan enjoys the congeniality and caring attitude of the staff and volunteers of KNC who work to make such a difference to members of our community.
Has had many years of senior management experience in multinational companies. He was also a Managing Director of a mid-size company for the last 8 years till retirement in 2006. Currently actively involved in several community organisations like KNC and Meals-on- wheels.
Isabel has been a KNC volunteer in various roles for over 20 years. A member of the Management Committee for much of that time, including the position of President for 5 years, she believes strongly in the changing role of KNC in our community.
A former English Conversation Class Coordinator she is now one of the Coordinators of the Yarning Group.
